NSEW is a four-part collection capturing the many faces of Mokoliʻi Island, also known as Chinaman's hat, one of Oʻahu’s most recognizable and beloved landmarks rising from the waters of Kāneʻohe Bay.

From the shoreline at Kualoa Beach Park, Mokoliʻi feels unforgettable—a small island with a unique silhouette that has become an icon. But from the water, it reveals an entirely different beauty. Each side of the island tells its own story: the North with its symmetrical, rugged cliffs and lone palm tree; the South with its lush greenery and the palm shifting to the opposite side; the East with its narrow point and subtle lean; and the West with its rocky landing zone framed by the towering Koʻolau Mountains in the distance.

For those who have paddled, boated, or spent long days exploring Kāneʻohe Bay, Mokoliʻi represents the feeling of endless adventure. This collection is a tribute to those salty days spent on the water and the timeless connection between Hawaiʻi’s landscapes and the people who experience them.
